Fathers day and crafting

We had a lovely afternoon yesterday with James and Emma and a couple of James' friends, Josh and Jamie. Roast for dinner and some special cupcakes I made. My fancy icing attempt; I know, bad isn't it. Just can't keep a straight line lol. Still tasted good. I used my banana cake mixture and put in individual cups instead of in the big baking tin. Turned out great. Yum!!

Gardening - made a new garden the other day with a cute dangly banner thing to keep the birds away hopefully. It has broccoli, lettuce and silverbeet at this stage and herbs that were already there. And the markers I made from old spoons. Idea from Pinterest.

Been making molds for resin. What do you think this is, there's a hint at the top right of the photo. I'll show you tomorrow when I unmold it :)

New table & chairs & wedding anniversary

It is our wedding anniversary today. We are heading to the city again tonight and off to a show called 'The Motor camp' at the Maidment Theatre. Should be hilarious. Looking forward to it.

A while ago I saw my dream table and chairs in a shop called Early Settler. Well finally I got my dream table and chairs. Isn't it lovely. The table is recycled elm and the chairs are burnt oak.

I am going to make one of these for the centre.

Birthday Month Day 19

I can't believe I have kept this up, blogging every day that is. Well almost every day, had a slip up the other day.
Lucky me, I have another bracelet and necklace as my treat today. Gorgeous bohemian jewellery from Just Jeans. Yum, yum.

Birthday Month Day 12

Finally I get my pretty pink dish. Isn't she so pretty. Number 4. She will look beautiful filled with lollies, chocolate truffles, cherries draped over the sides, or grapes. Lots of potential there.

I've started this again. So easy to fill up a glass of water and squeeze a lemon into it. And so good for you. Esp when you have a tree full of lemons.

Birthday month Day 4

Todays treat is number 1 which is a Bottle of Lindhauer. Sweet!! Will share that tonight with someone.

I made this for dinner last night. Very simple and very nice. Will definitely make again. It didn't quite look as beautiful as in this picture but it was a real hit. Just had it with rice. Yum.

My treat for today is number 16 which is a Pandora bead. Yay, so cute. This is one of the new beads. Good price too. Love the filigree pattern, gorgeous.
