Thought I'd share some pages from my Art Journal. I use it to play around with techniques and ideas.
Here are some older to very recent pages.

Some of these aren't finished yet, they are just backgrounds. As I've experimented more I've decided I prefer the ones that I've used book pages as the base for the backgrounds. I also like using magazine images, either as a main image for the page or as a silhouette.
I joined Nathalie Kalbachs Creative Jump Start Summit. It's FREE. You receive an email each day to Jump Start your creativity and they have been brilliant. So pleased I joined in. It has really made me think about spending even just 10 minutes, when I can, creating something. ANYTHING. It doesn't matter, just playing is the key, a little or a lot whenever you can.

Finally packed away my Xmas tree on Monday. I try to hold out as long as possible. I love looking at my decorated tree with its pretty lights and the lovely spirit it gives the room. I wait till the very last moment lol. Then reluctantly pack it away.

What a busy few days it has been. Had a great day for my birthday. Here are some photos.
Had a nice lunch with James and my BFs.

Walked around the market at Aotea centre. Colour and patterns everywhere.

The old Farmers Santa still hanging in there. Now on the Whitcoulls building in Queen St.

Then we had dinner at Daikoku with family. That was so much fun! Definitely going back. Emma couldn't make the day, she had to work.

I had scallops. They were goooood.

I do love nights in the city at Xmas.

Been working since. Despite the rain we have had a fairly busy Holiday Park and today is finally our day off. Hence the blog update.

Our local Port Waikato Xmas Parade was held on Saturday. It was a beautiful hot sunny day and we spent the day preparing our Port Waikato TOP 10 Holiday Park float. Not a lot of thought went into it really, we just loaded it up with everything we could think of in a camping theme. Thats what we do. Added some tinsel and we were off. Threw lollies to the kids. Though I think most of the kids in Port Waikato were in the parade lol. Still its a great community thing and we get together at the end for prize giving and a BBQ and then we head home. Just in time for the weather to turn to crap.

I finally finished this quilt made of fat quarters, other bits of fabric and a couple of bandannas too and some blanket stitching. My first and probably my last quilt. Too hard with just a basic machine. But I really like how it has turned out. Nice and colourful for summer.

Todays treat is a sweet dish from Bed, Bath and Table. They have beautiful things, I especially love the linen. Not cheap though, but gorgeous.

I made this cute Xmas tree canvas inspired by Christy Tomlinson. I love to go against the grain and use non traditional colours for Xmas.

Just wanted to share a FISH LAKSA recipe I made yesterday. We've been getting so much fish lately, I wanted to try different ways of having it. I found some ideas on Pinterest and then made up a concoction of my own. And I have to say it was very successful. Here it is.

FISH LAKSA

Ingredients:
approx 1/2 tsp fresh ginger chopped
2 cloves garlic chopped
1/2 a red onion chopped
stem of lemongrass, the white part crushed and chopped up
Peanut oil
2 dsp Curry Paste (I used red but you could use green)
3 cups boiling water
2 tsp chicken stock
Green veges
Fresh coriander
Tin of coconut cream
Fish
s & p
Noodles

Cook ginger, garlic, red onion and lemongrass in peanut oil till soft. Add curry paste and cook 30 secs. Add boiling water, chicken stock, green veges and fresh coriander. Cook 5 mins.
Add tin of coconut cream, cubed fish and s & p.
Cook till fish is cooked through. Add prawns if desired.
Serve over cooked noodles in a bowl.

I've started this again. So easy to fill up a glass of water and squeeze a lemon into it. And so good for you. Esp when you have a tree full of lemons.

10 years ago today we shifted to Port Waikato. We've had our ups and downs but this beautiful place has kept us going and now we feel so lucky to be in a place we want to be in more ways than one.
Look how beautiful it is. Surrounded by either the sea or the river or countryside.

Sunset Beach on a beautiful flat day, not so beautiful for the surfers, but definitely for the swimmers and fishermen.

The wind has stopped thank goodness. So excited our peach tree has heaps of peachy goodness on it this year. It's taken a few years but finally I think we will get a good harvest this year. Last year we had 4 giant delicious golden queen peaches. Previously they would get to the size of a marble and fall or be blown off. This year none have fallen off, yay!! Just need to figure out how to keep the birds away.

Number 17 today. A super cute dress from Max. And it was on sale. $41 from $140. YES!! Love it when that happens.

Well that didn't happen. Rob was too busy, lol. I threw number 30 back in and drew number 20. 2 new bathing suits, hehe, about time, I've had the last ones for about 5 years. And you know how hard it is buying a new bathing suit when you are white and a little podgy around the middle. But I did find something I did quite like from Postie Plus in the end. A bikini to sunbathe in, (not so bad when you are lying flat) and a cami top thing and bikini pants to swim in. I know I have sarongs somewhere.

Really!! Where did that time go? 50 years. What have I achieved. I have 2 amazing kids, I know that for sure. And for the first time in a long time I'm pretty happy with my life. So I guess thats a great achievement.

Anyway, since it's such a big birthday and I'm not having a party, I'm going to give myself a month of treats. Some just small and some bigger. Nothing too extravagant. Why the heck not. You're only 50 once. Half a century, oohhh that hurts, haha. Nah, I've never worried about my age. You're as old as you feel, I say.
I've made a list of my treats and numbered them and each day I draw a number to see which treat I get. Today's number is 6 and that is a bar of chocolate on my list lol.

Hunter Gatherer stuff

Rob got his first ever wild pig last Sunday. Look how pleased he is. I of course was not pleased they had to kill the poor pig. I hate that sort of thing, but what is it about some guys that feel the need to do it. I don't really understand. I hate killing anything.

Then on Tuesday we all went for a nice fishing trip with Colin. Not that nice, the weather was horrible, but we were most successful. James caught the biggest 5.3kg snapper, and Rob caught these 2 big 4 kg ones. Lots of other fish were caught also, enough to feed us for awhile, yum, fresh snapper, who could ask for more. I however was not as successful, but did catch 3 various fish, lol. And yes I hate killing fish too, but there are so many of them, it doesn't seem so bad. And fish is very good for you. The thought does play on my mind though, killing them that is. Not totally happy with that.

But I was extremely happy to gather this lovely bunch of flowers from my garden. So I was most content with that.

This was a fun project to do. When I received the pack from Scotties to make a project and instructions to be sold as a kit, I wondered how I could do it and still make it my own style. Something I would love and want to keep myself. It was all beautiful stuff but sometimes you just don't know how you can put it together and still be true to you. But I did it and was very happy with what I came up with. This will definitely find a place on my wall somewhere.
There are still kits available at Scotties if you would like one. If you love masks and sprays and scrunching paper you will love this. Just give them a call.

... since my last post. A lot has happened. I will fill you in soon, but first, today we start a new job. Rob & I are the new managers of the Port Waikato Top 10 Holiday Park. So you could say today is the start of a new life for us. And how symbolic being the first day of spring. We are very excited about this new venture.
I have updated my blog template finally. I was so scared to do it in case I lost everything, but am slowly managing to add some of the nic nacs back that I had. Will take a few days though.
Very sadly, my stepfather passed away a month ago today, 1st August. He had asbestos cancer. He had been diagnosed with it just over a year ago. It has been an incredibly sad and hard time for our family especially Mum. My heart is broken for her and him.
I have been trying to do some art lately and have managed a few things. I will have to post pictures soon. Meanwhile here is a picture of some curtains I made from old doilies and vintage hankies.

I think this is such a great idea. We need to know that we can receive wonderful gifts every day of our life. Even when sometimes it feels like the opposite. I recommend you subscribe to Jo Annas daily emails. They really make you more receptive to the gifts out there for you to receive.

Today I received a beautiful sunny day which allowed me to get some washing dry and just felt great after all the rain. I received a great idea of a present to make for a friends birthday. I received some special attention from someone close. I was given some garlic, yum. We tend to focus a lot on giving and not receiving back.

Anyway go to The Receiving Project and learn about receiving. It gives you a new outlook on life.

It's getting close now. I'm rather excited to go to a scrapbooking expo again, it's been awhile. I always love the atmosphere and catching up with friends and meeting new people. LOVE IT!!

I've been enjoying doing some online classes myself lately. I did this fantastic class of Christy Tomlinson's.

The She Art Workshop

It is so amazing, I learnt so much. I love learning to use different products and new ideas. And Christy is awesome, so much fun! I will post what I've done when I take a photo. I have been using the techniques I learnt in my own art and I'm just loving it.

Through Christy I discovered Pan Pastels. Then, thinking I would never be able to get them here in NZ, to my extreme excitement I discovered them at Takapuna Art Supplies, plus a lot of other products she uses. Can you imagine how excited I was!

So then I wanted to learn more about Pan Pastels. And guess what? Donna Downey is doing an online workshop.

Oh my goodness I say to myself, this is meant to be. So I can't wait to play with the 2 pan pastel colours I have so far, lol. I see a new collection coming up.

We had a late start to our day last Sunday. With all the rain we had over the weekend I think this poor tree couldn't hold on any longer. It just fell right down there over the road, blocking the way in and out of Port Waikato all morning till it was finally cleared away by midday. Glad we weren't going to the airport. The girl in front of us was.

Sneak Peek of my SENZ class - Freedom to Soar Mixed Media Canvas

I'm excited about this class. It is full of fun arty mixed media techniques. And the lovely Ange from Scrapware is sponsoring some yummy product for the class.

What I've been up to

First up, some creations with my DT kit from Scotties. I had some cool Studio Calico papers, rub ons, wood veneer shapes and the awesome spray inks. I love the coverage they give. Here is a small 6x6 canvas I made using the gorgeous plastic doilies Scotties stocks. I used them as texture with gesso for the base of the background, then I cut the middle out of another one and made the 2 larger flowers. I sprayed the blue one with the SC spray ink and painted the pink one. The wood veneer shapes for the small flower are sprayed with the Bluegrass Spray ink and painted. They are so versatile. I esp love the butterfly shapes in the LO below.

This LO also features the new Cherry Lynn Designs Kiwi Enchantment Doily Die. How cool are these dies!! These are sprayed with the Studio Calico spray inks. Plastic doilies again and the wood veneer button shapes, one covered in patterned paper and the other embossed with glittery orange embossing powder.
Now, here is a doily basket. I read about doing this via a link on Pinterest. I bought some Plaid 'Stiffy' from Spotlight. Its so easy, just soak the doily in Stiffy, squeeze it out and lay it over the base of a plastic bowl covered in gladwrap to dry overnight. I then put it the hot water cupboard for a couple of days. I was rapt with how it turned out being such a dainty doily to start with.
Introducing my 'erosion bundle' which is and will be buried in my vege garden for 3 months. Somehow I came across this blog, The Erosion Bundle Project, and I was so fascinated. I wanted to do this too. I had planned on burying my bundle on April 1st but that came and went. I eventually buried it this Tues 3rd may. I love the bundles the participants on the blog have been unraveling and I can't wait to unravel mine in August. Check out the site if you interested, I'd love someone to play along with me.
Here are the contents of my bundle. Paper bags, old wage envelopes, fabric, coffee grounds, tea leaves, rusty roof iron, pins, a stick, fern leaf, seeds, tissue, old book pages, metal washers, paper flowers and more. There is so much you can add. You want things that will rust and colour as mother nature takes her course, so you get a lovely vintagey, distressed, eroded coloured result. I'm thinking of doing another one too.

Lastly, another Pinterest inspired project. Here is the inspiration for this cute birdcage.
The base is a jar lid which I inked with black Stazon and covered the inside with Sassafras Lass pp. I made the cage with wire. Fun! I love working with wire. Then I rubbed Stazon ink over the wire to give it an aged look. And the little bird was an old key ring charm I had. Perfect!

Anniversary, sketch challenge and gardening

It was our 25th wedding anniversary on 15th Feb. We celebrated in style at the Skycity Grand Hotel the following Sat night. Had a grand time too. Look at the view from our room.

I finally found a place that had the ribbon for my old typewriter. Was very excited to find it and have it sent out straight away. Fantastic!

Great news

I was invited to join the Scottie Crafts Design Team. See the details here. Such a cool little shop with lots of new product. Looking forward to a very creative year. I'll also be teaching classes at Scotties so that should be lots of fun.

I'm also excited about my first homegrown rock melon. Was very happy when it just fell off the vine this morning in my hands. And it smells so nice. Means it's ready. Doesn't it look beautiful. So proud.

And some gorgeous looking peppers from my garden. Just loving all the yummy homegrown goodness coming out of my garden. So worth the thrill of it all.

Teresa Collins Stampmaker

FiNALLY got to try out my Teresa Collins Stampmaker today. I wanted to use my own images. It took me all day to make the images, I couldn't open the Imagepac software on my Mac. Then after I'd finished I found some instructions for a Mac in the box. Always the way. Next time. I still worked my way through it and these are the stamps I made. A couple are a bit dodgy but I know what I did wrong and next time they'll be even better. I'm definitely rapt with it. I thought the music background one hadn't turned out but when I inked it, it came up good, a bit grungy but that's even better.

Here's the ones I made today.

Things to remember for next time.

Don't scrub image too hard when cleaning or you'll break or lose parts of image e.g the side of the birdcage and lost parts of letters on the 'create something beautiful' stamps.

Make sure the image is completely blacked out around edge to the A7 or A8 size e.g 'the longer I live ' and scroll stamps. The edge will hard as well if it is not black around the edge.

It was definitely addictive and I know next time will be even better. Can't wait.

Record Bowls and Sprouts

Something I've started making again that I used to do years ago was make my own sprouts. They are so yummy in salads, stir fries or just on toast with peanut butter esp brown lentil sprouts. If you haven't tried them you must. So easy to do. And they look so healthy and fresh.

And yesterday James made some homemade pesto since we have a heap of basil growing. So yesterdays lunch was toast above with pesto, peanut butter and brown lentil sprouts on it, delicious and tasty.

How cool are these record bowls. I saw the easiest instructions on TV the other night on Kirsties Handmade Home on the Living Channel. Cool programme. You just set your oven to 150 C, no hotter or the fumes come off the record, then put in your record over a cup as below for only a minute till it droops over the sides of the cup.

Then you just carefully, it's quite hot, help mould it into the shape you want. So cool. I've seen them at craft fairs but didn't realise how easy they are to do. FUN!! So there you go.

And here they are, we thought we'd put plants in them.

Here's a better photo of my curtains and what's behind. The wall behind isn't finished either, lol, one day soon hopefully.

I also did this yesterday. Don't you just love mod podge. Made this job so easy and quick. I cut up some patterned papers and covered the drawer fronts with them. One day I will paint the rest of the desk. My computer sits on it.

Little Yellow Gingham curtains

Well I couldn't get a very good photo, it was a dull dull day. They don't look terribly exciting but you get the idea. I must get a better photo. They are on an old recycled cabinet from a bar. The fabric cost me $2 a metre from Spotlight (score), I used 3 metres, cheap curtains $6. Yes!

My darling girls birthday tomorrow. She will be 19. Wow!

Rearing to go!

I told myself I would start blogging again on 1st Feb. Only 2 days late. But here I am and rearing to go.

I have been addicted to this cool site called Pinterest. You know how you find cool images/sites on the web and you bookmark/fav them and then you spend ages searching for them. You know you saved it somewhere. Well now you can just Pin it on Pinterest, like a virtual storage of all the cool things you love. All in one place and easy to access straight away. You need to request an invite but it is definitely worth it. Check out the cool stuff on my Pinboard.

And the other cool one, which is similar, is Tumblr. I have been on Tumblr a bit longer but then I heard about Pinterest. I like them both. Here is my Tumblr link.

I have been sewing little curtains, will post a pic tomorrow. Planning things for round the home. I really want to create a Handmade Home. I have been so inspired by all the wonderful ideas on the net. I have started a crotcheted blanket, just simple coloured squares for my first one and a simple fat quarter quilt.

I'm also looking forward to doing some scrapbooking and art now I'm working shorter hours.

Also becoming extremely excited about my Autumn Escape Class. I can't believe how fast it is coming up.

I made this canvas for Xmas. It has little LED poked through holes in the canvas that light up the tree.

One of my precious possessions. I can't remember when I bought this, but it has been tucked away in the cupboard and now I'm bringing it out in the open. Love it to bits.

Weekend away and other things

Those poor families in the West Coast. Hard to believe really. Such a disaster.

So I went away for the weekend with a few girls and we had a great time. Heaps of laughs, relaxation and creating. Well a little bit of creating, managed to get my Xmas cards done, lol. Another appearance of the Hero Arts doily stamp.

Came home to these in my letter box. Some lovely Japanese washi tape from Kozo Tape. I'm excited because it's a NZ shop and the service was pretty good. Can't wait to play.

So I trimmed down some jeans to make shorts a couple of weeks ago. Did the same last year. Dragged out some old jeans to make into shorts. And I had this strip of denim, tied it round my wrist, thought it looked pretty cute really. Am thinking I will embroider some lazy daisies on it.

OK, now this was an idea I'd been wanting to try for ages. I saw it somewhere. Just see if I can find the link. Hold on. Here. Oohhh, coloured chalkboard paint, how cool. Wonder if you can get it in NZ.
And they work perfectly. We put pumpkin seeds in one jar and then James proceeded to write on the rest, lol. Then you just wash them or wipe off the label. Awesome, I love this idea. Just need to fill the other jars. They look so cool with the chalk on them.

A year today

It's a year today we had our darling Otis put to sleep. We've missed him so much, he was such a big part of our family. It was the hardest decision we have ever had to make as a family to have him put down but he was suffering and was very sick. It was horrible to see him that way. It was one of the saddest days I've had when we all went to the vet and were with him when he went to sleep. We all cried as he drifted off. So sad. Anyway we remember him and know he is in a happy place. Otis, now you have wings.

Love you always Ottie.

Cool sites and doilies

Whenever I find a cool site I email the link to myself so I can find it again and save the emails in a folder. So I went through the emails and added some of the links to my sidebar, well quite a few really. Check them out if you want, there are some very cool ones there - under 'Cool Sites' and 'So Inspired by'. Start at the end for the latest ones.

One in particular is Stumble Upon. It helps you discover lots of different sites that are based around your interests. You tell them what you are interested in and click the button and it just keeps bringing up all these cool sites. I have found some great sites through them. It's quite addictive.

Since having more time at home I have been finding things. I came across this cute beaded doily cover I made years ago, well I crocheted the beads around the edge of the doily. Cute huh!

And these are a little pile of doily motifs cut from an old pillow case, then I hand dyed them. Cute huh!

This lovely bunch of flowers my neighbour gave me brightened my day last weekend.

Photos from the weekend. We did this walk up the Sunset Beach Hill at Port Waikato. We've lived here for nearly 9 years and never done it. We finally did it this weekend thanks to my friend for encouraging us. Was so worth it. Look at that view. This first one is half way up.

It's Crazy

It's crazy how you keep saying I must update my blog but you just don't get around to it. Trouble is you leave it so long you have so much to say, it's too much. Maybe I'll try it over a few posts. I've done a couple of LO's recently. And a couple of ideas for Halloween.

I googled Free Vintage Halloween images and found these, so cool. Love, love vintage themed images. You could probably save and use them if you so desired.

Anyway I made these with them. Easy peasy. I printed the images on normal printer paper and glued to the treat bags. Punched some tags and borders with my Fiskars punches and voila.

And this empty strawberry container was begging to be made into something. So I dribbled alcohol ink over it, added some tissue and some embellishments and I had another Halloween gift container. All drooly (sp) and halloweeny looking.

Looking forward to Megans Retreat this weekend. I love the project I'm teaching and I'm sure if you are going you will too. Lots of arty fun stuff!!If you haven't heard Scrapbook Studio has closed now, sadly. Lisa will be opening a new shop in Hamilton. I have loved working there for the last 3 or so years. But one door closes and another one always opens. Looking forward to the future and plans.

This gorgeous cupcake from Petal that Lesley brought me last week. This is the Tropical mango flavoured one. The best cupcake I have ever had. Just melts in your mouth. Mmmmmm. Just look at that icing. I love the way they have piped it on like rose petals. And it tastes even better than it looks.

And this is the package it came in. So cute!!

Challenges and photos

A new challenge in the Scrapbook Studio forum for August here. My LO above. It's called some things old, some things new. I have a little pile of stuff lying round on my scraproom desk, leftovers from other projects usually. The chipboard strips were in this pile as were most things on this LO, so I made them into a fence (old chipboard). Old tool is the tree punch. Old metal is the wire for the fence. New patterned paper was the background one I made myself with a Crafters Workshop template, newest rub on is the little bird and newest stamp is the grass one by Montarga. Fun challenge!

Photo a Day - Day 6 - My craft area. Nothing exciting really. This is just my desk in a corner of my tiny craft room. I'm still waiting for my new room to be finished. This is tidy too, eekkk, doesn't look very tidy.
Haven't been able to get photos for Day 9 and Day 10. But hope to get one for Day 11.

And this is a photo for today, Day 8, of my son James heading out for a surf. A sport that has been the centre of our lives for many years. I love watching him surf.

Yes it's me back again. Been thinking about blogging again for ages. Found some cool downloads from Pugly Pixel and Kitschy Digitals to do a new banner etc which got me all inspired. The free downloads at Pugly Pixel are great and some real cute ones at Minitoko.

Tape Strips - Pugly Pixel

I did this LO for a Scrapbook Studio challenge. I photographed it last night so not a great photo. The challenge was to do a 12x12, use fabric, a stamp (love my new doilie stamp), chipboard and hand cutting of patterned paper. Tick to all those.

Oh so sick

I was sick, so sick. But we got through it. I soldiered on with Codral for the whole weekend, I would have been a mess without it. I hardly had a voice, my head was throbbing, my throat was burning, but we did it. Poor Nickie was the same. Now I'm off the Codral, don't like taking anything other than Panadol usually but just had to for the weekend, and I'm letting this revolting flu work it's way out itself.
It was my nieces 21st on Friday night too and I felt so sick going up the Skytower. But what an amazing restaurant. The food was stunning and the view incredible, even though it was a bit cloudy. Love how you go right round in just under an hour I think it is. Just wished I'd felt better to appreciate it more.
So great to see people at SENZ, sorry if I wasn't very talkative and poor Yolande was so happy to see me and I felt like total crap at the very minute she came over, I was just ready to take my next Codral fix. Catch up soon I hope Yo.

SENZ this weekend

We are super busy getting ready for SENZ this weekend. I am teaching 2 classes, one is full and the other about 3/4 full, should be fun fun fun.
Here's a sneak of them:I have also been busy making samples of some of the yummy product we will have there including the Heidi Swapp Invisibles which I've used in this LO. They are the coolest thing, I've rubbed different coloured chalks over the background to give this dreamy effect. And I love the Prima vines, how cool are they. This photo is crap sorry, sooo much better IRL.The adorable Websters Pages Sweet As Cherry Pie range - if you are doing my HOME Canvas class you will get a nice surprise. And one of my favourite Collections range things - the owl, he is so cool when he's made up.
And I am pretty proud of myself for making this apron. Last year at SENZ Rachel and Kate wore cute as handmade aprons and I was determined to make one this year, so I spent the day on Saturday making this. I found a simple half apron pattern on the net and then just added bits to it including a pocket (clever me) and kept adding and adding and I still have a few more things I want to add too. I'm so proud of me, hehe.

Yes finally Broadband has come to Port Waikato, so I may be able to get on here more often. It is so much quicker than before, SOOOO MUCH QUICKER.

Some stuff to share:

Firstly a project I did for Mothers Day for Fiskars. I love the quote, so so true. It is hanging in my scraproom at the mo.

We've been playing at work with all these cool shadow boxes and altered projects using products from Twiddleybitz, Collections and 2Crafty. So much fun. The photo in this shadow box is of my Dad and his sister. How cute, I think they are off to school. I was so pleased with how the photo came out after playing around in Photoshop to get it that colour.

And this is another project using the back of a canvas and some little houses from Collections, so much fun to put together. Can you find the 3 birds?
Now that I have Broadband I hope to share more often, but then thats what I said before, LOL.

Catch up - Big Time

Well I have lots to tell really. It's been a month.

Firstly, NZ Dares is finishing up after the next dare. Pretty sad really, but just not enough interest anymore and too many other things going on. Vicky has posted the last dare and it is a good one, so would be really great if lots of people took part. Love to see some of our old darees from way back. :)

Fiskars is doing a photo a day thing on the blog. I've done pretty well with mine, only missed a few days. Here's my fav photo of mine so far.

Happy St Patricks Day for yesterday

Yes I went a bit silly yesterday. I stopped at our local dairy on the way home from work and asked our lovely dairy owner if she would do me a mix of green lollies and she said yes of course. How kind of her. She said I was an interesting Mum - I didn't tell her it was just for me and Rob, LOL. I bought lemonade and added green food colour, which I also added to the mashed potatoes and the green cupcakes I made. Talk about green food colouring overload. Probably really bad for you but I had fun anyway.

Numbers, numbers.

This is going very well. All we need now is # 23, 27 & 29. Go check them out here, what a cool bunch of numbers to choose from. And thanks to Ruth (Roo) for adding a heap of numbers recently, to the pool.

This months Qtea kit is so cute, full of yummy doggie, nature goodies. Here is a LO using it.And I love making these little canvas pictures with fabric. Some of the fabric and trims here are from this months and past Qtea kits.
Here is a LO I did for Scrapbook Studio using some new Making Memories papers - Animal Crackers. OMGosh it is so cute. I love the star die cut paper and the animals and letters are cut from another paper. I have been dying to find a use for the little Piggy Tales pigs tales and I found it - check out the close up. I'm going to use one on a card too. All these are in store at Scrapbook Studio and the Bazzill dotted swiss cardstock too - oohh yeah so yummy.
